An island in the sky, A thought that flew on by
The madness took us all, before the coming fall
We never stood a chance, The stars began to dance

We climbed the endless stair, And fought the demons there
The mountains of the moon, were taken all too soon
We only had a sip, but woke up on the ship
The face we can’t forget, the sun began to set

We paid the price

The city of our dreams, where nothing’s what it seems
The object of the quest, beyond a final test
Through forests of the night, and things we could not fight
The caves beyond the hill, the screams that echo still

And now we can not stay, too late to turn away
A journey of the dead, the voices in our head
When time begins to slow, the towers start to show
The nameless ones await, we go to meet our fate

Alone we wondered in our dreams, a world that wasn’t what it seems
the sacrifice we made and still, the promise that we must fulfill
